I recently read this survey on travelling which said - about 75% of executives believe travel is important to prevent burnout! 🤯🤯🤯
And we couldn’t agree more. We started travelling to get away from our hectic work schedules, have time to ourselves and disconnect from our at-times chaotic life. Post our vacations, we would come back refreshed and charged up to go through the daily grind again. Soon enough we developed a love for travelling and @whitecollartravellers was born. We have become travel geeks now and consciously plan our travel whenever we get the opportunity.
The more we travel to different places and more people we meet – we realized that ANYONE CAN TRAVEL ! You don’t have to fly half-way around the world to travel, it could be exploring a nearby village, town or city or the country next door. It is all about breaking your routine, finding some adventure and just experiencing something new!
You just need to try it once! Sure, it does take a conscious effort, you need to save up and plan – but the reward is really worth it. Apart from recharging you, it also helps in broadening your perspective in many ways. For us, travelling is discovering new cultures, exploring new cities, meeting new people and making lifetime memories.
