Perty the sheep baa-ck in New York City: "Hello from Broadway! 🎭I just saw the Tony®-nominated musical, @wecomefromaway and boy, was it AMAZING!!! 💙💛It's the true story of how the people of the Canadian town of Gander, Newfoundland opened their hearts to almost 7,000 passengers stranded there when U.S. airspace was shut down during 9/11. So heartwarming and powerfully poignant at the same time! Go see it!!!! So worth using up my Ewenited airmiles! ✈️🇺🇸🇨🇦Gotta go! I'm going to @juniorscheesecake for my post-Broadway show cheesecake! Memories... 17th July 2014 🇧🇷 The World's Most Famous UFO
The Museu de Arte Contemporânea de Niterói is probably one of the most iconic buildings in the world. Shaped like an UFO from outer space the building designed by Oscar Niemeyer stands at the shore of the Guanabara Bay with the world famous Pão de Açúcar (Sugar Loaf Mountain) in the background.
After visiting the Caminho de Niemeyer, Bimbino and Bambina started walking South along the bay towards the city's Museu de Arte Contemporânea. When they passed the district of Gragoatá, they discovered the biggest fig tree they had ever seen in their life. Of course the monkeys couldn't resist to go climbing and swinging on the tree's aerial roots.
Memories... 17th July 2014 🇧🇷 Illusive Reflections
Niterói is Rio's twin city, located on the opposite side of the Guanabara Bay. The city is famous for the Caminho Niemeyer, a cultural complex designed by Brazil's world famous architect Oscar Niemeyer. Bimbino and Bambina loved the Caminho not only for its unique architecture but also for some details that allowed it to experiment with their camera.
Rio de Janeiro is an amazing place. Rio is not only a colourful and bustling city, it has also some of the world's most famous beaches, located in a landscape protected by the UNESCO as a World Heritage.
Memories... 13th July 2014 🇧🇷 Germany Wins the Football World Cup 🏆
From São Paulo, Bimbino and Bambina hitchhiked to Rio de Janeiro, the old capital of Brazil. July the 13th 2014 was the day of the days. It was time for the football world cup final between Argentina and Germany. The monkeys went to FIFA Fan Fest at the Copacabana to watch the game. The beach was crowded with thousands of people of thimble 90% seemed to be Argentinian fans. When Germany finally won the game, the monkeys found themselves in the wrong place. Nobody was cheering, most people were sad and depressed. And when the Mannschaft was about to receive the 🏆, the organisers shut down the live feed on the screen. Happy about winning the game, Bimbino and Bambina were not really able to celebrate.
Overwhelmed and overcharged by the sheer size and bustle of São Paulo, Bimbino and Bambina were in need of a more quiet and relaxed part of the city. Their choice fell on the Vila Madalena district where they went to explore the famous street art of Beco de Batman.
