Who takes your pictures when you're travelling? My friends and family take most of the photos of me, but every now and then I also get a helping hand from a friendly passerby. I go for the people with the biggest cameras, as chances are they'd be able to take a decent shot. Who do you ask and what do you look for, if anything, in the kind of person you approach?
This picture was taken by one of the lovely guards at Borobudur. He was assigned to watch me because I was planning on flying my drone; his job was to make sure nothing went wrong and I didn't crash my drone into the ancient monument. Drones are usually not allowed over Borobudur, but travelling with the Indonesian Ministry of Tourism (@indtravel) meant that I was granted special permission to fly my drone. So that was how I ended up with my own personal photographer 😝
