Our last meal in Amsterdam: fresh figs, carmelized sweet potato, pomegranate, balsamic glaze and toasted pita with spices. .
People have been asking how it was to find plant based food in Amsterdam, and I have to say it was way easier than in DC. .
Not only were there a ton of options, but we didnt have to settle for tons of restaurant substitutions or always eating salads. Instead we got to dine on real food that simply tasted amazing.
The flavors and the freshness were so inspiring. For now, we'll be recreating them at Chez Sam and Shaun, but I cant wait to get plant-y dining experiences like that again.
What's the most veg-friendly city you've ever visited??
