We seriously love coming across stories where previously unused space is getting reactivated to better the community. Take for example this co-working space in Barcelona, where local architects @colomboserboli were given the task of transforming five never-before used and neglected empty premises on the ground floor of a social housing block, into attractive, vibrant workspaces where small companies would want to set up their offices. The social initiative here is to revive the community by attracting professionals to the new co-working space, generating opportunities to develop and create new projects of social value for the area. Essentially, the space becomes a #connector between the professional talent that inhabits the co-working space and the social and entrepreneurial initiatives of the district.
What a great #collaborative effort to bring a community together, something we are all about here at #spacetoco! #feelinginspired
