I reduced all sweets, white bread, stopped eating fast food, cereals, food with added sugar etc. I started to eat more veggies, stopped with my unhealthy snacking and eat regularlyπŸ₯’πŸ†πŸ₯‘
I lift weights 3-5 times per week, and when I'm at the gym I'm a beastπŸ‘Ή I use challenging weights, I'm focused and I'm not afraid to increase the weightsπŸ‹πŸΌβ€β™€οΈπŸ–€ That's why I include weights like dumbbells in my workout plans, if you're not challenging your muscles and increase the weights, you will not build muscles πŸ’πŸΌ Because how could you continue to break down your muscles if you always use the same weightπŸ™…πŸΌTrain like a beast and eat healthy and you will see results very quickly, I promiseπŸ–€

#TransformationTuesday.. don't think about what can happen in a month or a year .. focus on trying to achieve small daily goals .. everyday !!! When I started my fitness journey 10 years ago I didn't start with a goal of getting 6 pack abs and I assure you I never dreamed that I would be posting pictures of myself on instagram πŸ˜±πŸ™ˆ.. I started because I wasn't happy with the way I looked or felt .
I was trying my best to keep up with my real life responsibilities.. family , work , home life. It really didn't leave time for myself . Although I was not overweight , I wasn't healthy . It's what you call "skinny fat". I wasn't confident.. I was shy and introverted. My body changed drastically after having children and I didn't think I stood a chance of getting my pre baby body back . My eating habits were not healthy . I would try to be "good" by not eating then eating everything in sight late at night .
I knew I needed to make a lifestyle change .
I began working out at home 45 minutes a day . It was the time I would set aside as "ME" time . I wouldn't miss a day .. I started by doing workout videos . Once I started to see changes , I eventually joined a gym . I wanted to tighten up and build some muscle after losing the weight . The process was a long one . I didn't know what I was doing . I was shy at the gym and embarrassed to workout in the weight area. But my goals were greater than my fears and I stuck with it . Along my journey , I also learned that exercise and nutrition need to go hand in hand to see a real difference .
Today I'm so proud of how far I've come . I'm healthier than I have ever been . I'm more confident than I've ever been and I truly feel blessed because I'm better now than I ever was . So I hope this helps you realize it's NEVER too late to make a change . With a little bit of sweat , hard work and determination all things are possible . You just have to convince yourself that you are capable of achieving anything you put your mind to ...I have come a LONG way .. If I could do it so can you 😘😘πŸ’ͺ🏻

#transformationtuesday -303lbs πŸ‘‡ in less than 22 months! At 25 years old, 485lbs & a BMI of 78 - I had hit my rock bottom. I knew I had to change to save my life. I knew i was in control of my own future which i knew meant I had to completely change my lifestyle. No meal plan, surgery, personal trainer, or anything like that - but hard work, diet, & exercise. When I first started coaching I had NO time! I woke up at 4am to workout, got to basketball practice at 6:15am to coach, work all day till 4, got home to do a few hours of grad school, and at 8pm I bunkered down and I focused! .
I didn't want my schedule to be dictated for me, I wanted to DICTATE my schedule! And now I do! .
Tonight I am going to book club and I'm not stressed, worried, or anxious about how long it will go, did I get the reading done, how do I fit this in?? I fit it in because now I have MORE time to do what I love! ❀️ .

I haven't really studied much into parasitizing fungi but Hypomyeces lactiflorum (Lobster mushroom) seems to to transform from a russula species into an entirely different fungi. #mysterious !

Boy, do I have an ugly lifting faceπŸ˜‚πŸ‘Ή Tried this deadlift variation and it helped me consciously keep my πŸ‘down. Often times my hips shoot up before the rest of my body so this was a good way of allowing me to practice a variation of my sumo form! Form isn't the best but with all new things comes practiceπŸ™ˆ
