On the left I had just started a new job. My co-worker @blav14 clearly worked out so I asked him to guide me on a path to become healthier. It started out very simple, just lifting weights, making healthier choices, and doing 10-20 mins of light cardio. .
From there I saw progress and I lost 15lbs in the first month. That loss ignited a fire and I kept pushing. I soon started to track calories as simply making healthier choices didn't cut it anymore, I needed to know truly how much I was eating. Tracking calories turned into tracking macros and through that I found flexible dieting which is why I have been able sustain my weightloss.
See, I thought I was going to be the fat friend forever because I lacked an understanding of nutrition and I lacked the will power to try something I had no idea how to do. .
If you would have told me 1.5 years later (3.5 years now) I would have transformed myself both physically and mentally I would have told you it wasn't possible. BUT IT IS! .
I started out knowing very little, but I searched for answers and I started to listen only to scientifically backed information. No fad diets, pills, or shakes are going to change your life forever, but knowledge will.
