Rain-Rider ☔️ : 4821 glides effortlessly along All Saints Street, whilst operating a 101 service bound for Handsworth. Nothing notable about this photo, although I am rather pleased with the way it turned out! The 101 operates to a 10 minute frequency during Monday to Saturday daytimes; the service itself is allocated to Enviro 400 bodied Dennis Tridents, with branded examples like the one shown above. 4821-4828 have been branded for the 101; their sisters 4801-4812 & 4813-4820 have also been branded for the 16 & 7 respectively. These E400s were new to Birmingham Central in 2009, for use on the Hagley Road corridor, before transferring to Pensnett just over a year later. 4800-4829 would transfer to Perry Barr following the deliveries of National Express’s first batch of MMC Enviro 400s (6101-6122).
