Progressing with my archer press-ups after tips from movement guru @diegocorelifestyle last week. Thanks for your time & wisdom ๐Ÿ™๐ŸผAdding in hip movement, keeping chest lower to the floor, using forearms & being a little more fluid...I might even try breathing more so I lose that tomato face!! Surprise surprise...I'm already a little restless and keen to start training people. Yes, it took me just 4 days! With the help of kettlebells, a TRX, resistance bands and simple bodyweight training I'm taking on just a few clients for my stay to keep me busy.

I'm SMK1&2 kettlebell and PCC calisthenics (bodyweight) qualified. My training focuses on improving movement, health, body confidence and performance for all ages and abilities.
No gym needed, I'm fully mobile bringing my kit to you to train in or outdoors. Either 1:1 or small groups of up to 6 depending on your space.

FAVOURITE FULL BODY FLOW || I LOVE to flow. This is one of my absolute favourite full body sequences, which is surely familiar amongst my clients!
Great to increase mobility (range of moment) in the hips, ankles & shoulders, I incorporate this into most of my workouts (combined with specific activation) and often recommend clients run through 3 times weekly (alternating side x10).

MDS ACCOUNTABILITY - REAL TALK // .
September has been tough! My Marathon Des Sables training has taken a back seat and I've definitely not covered the distances I wanted to. It happens, life takes over. I'm not going to sweat it because I've been productive in other areas - sometimes we just have to shift our priorities, and my work needed to be at the top of my list this month.
.
My fitness has still improved, even though I'm not covering the distances I had planned to I'm still fitting in shorter and just as effective sessions. On top of the training sessions I walk between 10-30km daily between teaching classes and getting between clients - tracked by my @garmin forerunner. It's all time on my feet!
.
Nutrition has been the difficult aspect. I've been stressed, lacked sleep and had little time for food preparation. This is also the first time in 4mths where I've not had my food delivered by @freshfitnessfood - I miss the convenience of my deliveries, however paused them pending my Australia trip purely for financial reasons. My goal this week is to be better prepared...and to magically find another few hours in each day! .
I've decided to fundraiser for UK's homeless charity @crisis_uk - a charity I've been involved with over the Christmas period for the last two years. Keep your eyes peeled for my fundraising page going live very soon, I'm also hoping to host some events...very keen for help if you'd like to be involved?! .

1. Hang On The Bar With An Overhand Grip In The Dead Hang Position.
2. After Ten Seconds, Then Every Ten Seconds After, Complete "One" Proper Pull-Up
3. No Kipping
4. Each Pull Up Must Be Launched From The Dead Hang Position
5. Stop As Soon As You are unable to perform a proper rep to the announced cadence, hold onto the bar or in the event of not being able to complete a full pull-up.
6.ย Contact must be made between the bar and the candidateโ€™s body at the sternum to complete one full pull up.

The Turkish Get Up has become one of my absolute favourite movements in both my own and my clients training. A test of strength, mobility and skill which is adaptable to every level and easily broken down, dissected and programmed. Treat it as a warm up, as your mobility, or as an entire workout alone - adjust the variable of load, time under tension and range....the options are limitless! I GEEK out on get ups ๐Ÿค— .
So naturally they were one of my highlights of this weekends @strengthmatters kettlebell certification - to be fair, there wasn't a moment I wasn't learning and engaged throughout the entire cert!
