I used to hateeee cardio! I would literally not do it at all... But summer’s coming and my cut (food wise) hasn’t been going as well as planned lol I’m too much of a #foodie πŸ˜‚ BUT it’s all good because I’m creating my calorie deficit in much more fun way... skipping! I saw some really intense boxer skipping videos and fell in love with it. If you want to unleash your inner Mcgregor ( this mans is a skipping wizard ) watch this video for a few basic steps to get started!
Aim for a minute of each exercise with 30 sec rest in between and repeat 5x for a #calorieburn

I’ve started a new program! I’ve been doing #trainwithlyzabeth for almost 3 years now, I love the program but I felt like I needed a change. @bretcontreras1 aka #thegluteguy is credited as the inventor of the hip thrust. So far, I’m enjoying the shorter length workouts (1 hr) vs. the 1.5-2 Hrs I was doing before. It’s a bit of an adjustment for that reason.
This time, I’m focusing more on nutrition since that’s been my weakness.
I will update as I continue with this new program. πŸ˜ŠπŸ’š

The amazing thing about working out is that once you engrave it into your schedule and it becomes habit, your body will actually start to crave physical activity. That’s why I love practising yoga and calisthenics because you can literally get fit anywhere. And when you get an urge to get rid of some excess energy you can do the crow pose πŸ˜‚ because it’s never a bad time for that am I right?
Not to mention that some of these things makes awesome party tricks. Yesterday at a party I went to, we had a contest to see who could handstand for the longest. I failed pretty badly 😬 so that’s what I’ll be working on now!
