Some people deal with their negative thoughts and emotions with alcohol, food, clothes shopping, etc.
I kind of always knew that my therapy was some form of physically exhausting form of exercise. I ran, mountain biked, hiked, and rock climbed to help me cope until I was finally able to truly face my demons head on.
I can't even begin to describe how liberating it is to workout simply because I love it.
Working out is no longer my therapy. It's just another thing I do because I love a good challenge.
