Don't take the little things for granted! For the past 5 days I've been sick, can't train or do anything but rest. I have learned that gotta be thankful for the little things. Happy to be alive, go have a great day everyone!
New track. Maybe most of you doesn't know about psychedelic music but I love it, so I tried to do it,it's the very frist time I try to assemble a psy trance track, i know it's simple but as I said I'm not that good with it but I like making music. The song is not very long, but at least I tried. Music is everything to me.
How to tell if you're a runaholic and have dependency issues with ultramarathon trail and mountain endurance running and races:
1. You went to bed at 2am after reading Western States updates on Facebook and Instagram all night. Then woke up at 5 to catch race start feeds. *For non runners look up Western States Endurance Run. It's one of THE biggest races and happens right here in Squaw Valley Cali, it's worth the google search people!* 2. When your face is not in your phone, tablet or Mac (yes, I need all 3 devices going at once for multiple aid station check in feeds). Your eyes are glued on the the TV to USA Track & Field Championships on NBC and NBC App. Shout out to T&F and XC where it all started AY AY AY! 3. You happen to look away from feeds on your devices and TV to at what one houseguest called "my million dollar view" and see a race about to happen in the mountains on the canyon road where you live on, that looks like a 2 lane track right outside of your house between a tractor and a bike is about to happen, and you actually get really really heart pumping excited and record it.(Notice the track runner move of the biker looking over his shoulder) hahahaa I love it! City and Country best of both worlds!
You must imagine the grief this child has been putting me through the last two days about how there was no way he was going to do the 600m. I needed to tell his coach that he wasn't doing it. Of course I would do no such thing and he was so grumpy at me for making him do something he didn't want to do. Didn't matter that his coaches encourage the kids to do all the events. He hated this one and I shouldn't be making him do something he didn't want to. But then he ran it and got a personal best. He even led his flight for a little bit. And he ended up in eighth. He got a ribbon for that. It turned out to be his best event over the last two meets. Suddenly it's his favourite event. Oh well. He did apologize for being so grumpy about it. #running#trackandfield#track#activeforlife#activekids#justlistentoyourcoach#momknowsbest#missyousomuch#youshouldbehere
