More sprouted wheat, slightly higher hydration and a longer final cold proof. We're going on a short trip to SW Ontario for a few days, so this will be fuel for the road!
Also, a few blogging thoughts: I do have a blog; and I guess some people besides my mom read it. Much like baking, blogging is a creative outlet for me. Originally I started it just to record some family favorite recipes. Mostly I write when I want to, usually when I've spent some time tinkering on a recipe and want to record my thoughts while they're fresh. One day I'd like to be more structured and take more process photos; but right now I do a lot of baking before/after the sun is up which is a little limiting, since I don't have professional photography equipment (or skills). That being said, I do enjoy knowing that people find certain recipes or articles helpful. Personally I've learned a lot through cooking and baking blogs. So are there some recipes or how-to's you'd like to see? I'm definitely curious!
If a girl can't be fabulous outside in winter, what can she be? #iiggyjoey
Roadtrip ready! Heading off this morning with @ajfernando to the Drake Devonshire for a lil' mid-week getaway. 🚙 😊 But first, my go-to roadtrip companions - extra hot grande latte + warm ginger molasses cookie from @starbuckscanada (which I could literally eat five of in one sitting because they are SO. FREAKING. GOOD.). 🍪☕️#mymorningmyway #partner
Neighbourhoods: Definitely the most lively area of the city, you can find theaters, performing art centers, nightclubs, and delicious restaurants in the Entertainment District. Home to the well-known annual film festival, TIFF, the main area on King Street is closed off to cars during that time. For a few days every year, pedestrians are free to roam and enjoy the street food and activities that take over the otherwise traffic-filled street. @danib21
