Ribeye steak with a side order of chorizo. A hungry-man type order, this was so savory and succulent. Ribeye is a fattier cut of the cow so you have to be ok with that, I personally prefer ribeye cuts. This was so freaking good. For $19 you get a huge cut of steak, very good bang for your buck here. @brooklynciderhouse

Waffles and chicken from Brooklyn Cider House, $12 here. The waffle was pretty good, the fried chicken was INCREDIBLE. The breading really added a nice crunch, the meat underneath was very tender. I’m willing to bet their Korean wings here is also excellent based on the quality of the fried chicken here. @brooklynciderhouse is my number one pick for newest Brooklyn restaurants to dine in at due to their delicious food, low prices and great value, huge venue, fun atmosphere (Different games, cider catching) and exceptional service. Great for families too and perfect for larger groups. So impressed with this place that I’m going to come back in a few weeks.

Prawn mee noodle soup from Nyonya (Malaysian), locations in both Manhattan and Brooklyn. I've criticized this place for not being authentic and serving subpar food that has been getting worse over the years. Tonight they really delivered, the food was spectacular. One of the best meals I've had from them in the 8 years I've been eating here. Bear in mind this was at the Brooklyn location. Huge improvements in the quality of food and how quickly it came out even when it was busy. Broth was excellent, noodles were good and the meat, anchovies and shrimp were on point.

Vegetarian lasagna from Divya's Kitchen, vegan/vegetarian restaurant in lower Manhattan. The house made cheese really shined here. This also had a nice earthy taste to it from all the vegetables and sauce infused together. A nice change from the heavy unhealthy coma inducing foods I usually eat. @divyaskitchennyc

New York Strip from Essex. The crust was nice and meat itself was cooked to a perfect medium rare. Modern contemporary american cuisine with southern influences mixed in. Service was impeccable, large dim space @essexnyc

"Polipetti Alla Griglia" Grilled octopus served with potatoes, red onion, olives, arguala and fresh lemon. Having a nice Italian dinner at the very romantic scenary @olioepiu

Filet Mignon "Filetto Bossini Al Tartufo" WOW what a dish!!! So juicy with layers of texture and flavors. I've had quite a few steaks in my day and I have to say I'm pretty impressed by the quality of this one, especially for a non dedicated steakhouse. Phenomenal dining experience at such a beautiful restaurant with great service. @olioepiu

Squid ink seafood linguini with octopus, shrimp, potatoes, tomatoes and arugala. It had a little bit of heat that was unexpected, might of been from the hot chili peppers. The seafood was spot on, the linguini is really interesting. It's a little richer than regular pasta, more of a seafood taste to it. Bit hard to describe without trying it yourself. It's a nice change up from ordering traditional pasta if you want to try something new. @olioepiu

Di Palo’s classic Italian sandwich with prosciutto, home made fresh mozzarella, roasted red peppers, balsamic vinegar and olive oil. Absolutely delicious, ingredients were quality here. I think I like their sandwiches more than Faicco’s actually. Located in little Italy in Manhattan, est 1925. @dipalofinefoods

Steak tar tar to start the night at Boucherie’s new location near union square. I like beef in general rare so this was perfect for me. The tangy appetizer was a great start to the night here. @boucherienyc

Nasi lemak, the national dish of Malaysia. Loved the carmelization of the peanuts and anchovies. This is a common breakfast and one of the healthier ones out there compared to other countries. I consider this restaurant a hidden gem serving true authentic Malaysia cusine compared to many places like Nyonya which are run by Chinese chefs. @kopitiamnyc

40 oz tomahawk ribeye, roasted bone marrow on the bottom with bordelaise sauce. You’re going to be shelling out a bit for this but what a beast of a steak. This can probably feed 3 people. A pretty imitate restaurant with a romantic feel to it, a lot of people say the decor @boucherienyc is reminiscent of restaurants in Paris without actually being there. Best seats in the house are the second level overlooking the entire restaurant, try to reserve that if you decide to come here
