This journey has been such a humbling experience. I haven't been perfect. I have cravings just like everyone else. I know what proper nutrition looks like, but sometimes I have off days. I understand what my body can accomplish by working out for 30 mins a day, and sometimes I still struggle to press play. One thing I have been consistent with? I have never given up.
If you get a flat tire, do you slash the other three? No? Why not? Because that's irrational and plain dumb.
Same applies to your new lifestyle. If you have a bad cheat day, overindulge in wine, or splurged over the holiday break--do you just throw in the towel and say "oh well"? HELL NO!! You never EVER give up. There is no such thing as starting over. Failure is part of the path to success. Without it we would lose our drive and our focus.
After a set back you need to realign your goals and push harder. Push forward. NEVER throw in the towel and quit.
I am currently in the middle of these two pictures. It's me vs. me and I know exactly what I need to do to get there. I'm not ashamed of my setbacks--I'm proud of what I know my body is capable of! I am SO thankful that another one of our challenge groups starts next week!! Without my team standing alongside me--reaching my goals would be a heck of a lot harder!

Alright darlings. I saw @paige_cor post about Honesty Hour this weekend and I decided to jump. While I've been feeling pretty motivated, my body sort of conspired against me and I've been out of commission for the last 2 weeks and tbh it's been hard knowing that the last 10 weeks are taking a hit. So I thought I'd post a l#transformationtuesday pic from last time this year that I never posted because I didn't feel confident enough in my shape. But now I look at it and I'm like GIRL! We need to have a TALK! Cause you crazy! You were freaking slaying it last year! How can you think otherwise! Body dysmorphia is crazy! Like I never understood it until 6 months after being a certain size and looking back knowing where I was and realizing how wrong I saw myself! So I'm just gonna stop right now 🀚🏼 Look myself in the mirror and say, 'Girl YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL. You are smart. You are kind. You are important. You are worthy. You are ENOUGH!' So I had a setback. So I got the flu. The journey doesn't end at 12 weeks or next month or in a year. The journey is life! It's up and down. I know you eager, but take your time! It's gonna be okay! We left, plenty of time to spare...We were 10 min early! We are NEVER EARLY. BUTTTT... We were at the wrong Chipotle location. So, drove to the right one, and was 10 min late.

As we were pulling in, Kendall filled her carseat and covered herself with vomit. She was carsick. And guess who didn't have any - extra clothes? towels? not enough wipes? plastic bags? πŸ‘‹ Lesson learned.

Thankfully, one of the lovely friends I was meeting has a child similar in age and had an extra sleeper I could get her in, some extra wipes, and a plastic bag to sit under her in her carseat so she didn't have to sit in the gross seat.
Let me just say every cough on the way home had me anxious as could be and it was a 30 min ride home! But she didn't get sick again. So while we are at it, does anyone else have a toddler that gets carsick? It's not the first time, but it was definitely the worst. HELPPP.
