Here’s the thing about love; you don’t find it when you’re in deep dark place, losing your mind, playing the same old conversation in your head over and over again, thinking what went wrong and how you’re nothing without them. You don’t find it curled up in your bed, scrolling through your phone hoping he replies to your text and wondering if he’s thinking about you. You don’t find it in the corridors of your school, a smile being exchanged between two faces, two hearts being mended together. You find it in those desperate moments of plea, to know the other would desperately try to make you the happiest, even when the other might be falling apart. You find it in the small meaningful things, the small gestures that bring a smile to your face. You find it when you can’t imagine a moment where the other does not exist. You find it among the people you love, who adore you as much, always by your side, your family. You find it in the moment when you’re both together; and nothing else seems to matter. Just for the moment. Everything, disappears.
