About to do a live call in front of thousands of coaches -- wish me luck!! 🙏🏼💛 Isn't it funny what we consider "hard"? People will often ask me if helping women online with their health and fitness goals is hard. My reply is:
1) Hard is not a fact, it's a feeling
2) Perspective changes everything!
On the one hand you could look at what I do as "hard", because it includes talking to a lot of people, sharing on social media, doing live videos, and having people often tell you they're not needing your help right now. Some might say that's hard.
But not me.
I don't see those things are hard, because, well, they're not!
Hard was trying to enjoy a career in teaching that just did not fill my cup 😏
Hard was carrying the guilt of NOT really liking it, since I felt I SHOULD and really wanted to 😩
Hard was rushing in the morning to get myself and Armand ready for the day ⏰🍼🛁🚿🚗, drop him off at daycare, spend the day with other people's kids 👩👧👧👩🏻🏫, then rush back home after a full-day of work to make dinner, prep for the next day and just try to breathe 🚘🚦🥘🥗😰🤹🏻♀️, all the while missing all the moments I wanted to be home for 💔. I found that hard!
Hard was looking ahead in my career and not being excited by the view. 🔮😔 But working on myself daily both physically and emotionally is not hard! 👯♂️😍 Encouraging and empowering people, having conversations with women I actually like and have so much in common with is not hard. 🙌🏼💖👩❤️💋👩👭 Offering my help and helping those who are ready is not hard -- I see it much more as a GIFT, really! 🎁🎊 One I do from home while raising my kids. 👩👧👦 One that has a bright future, that includes the potential to grow exponentially ✨💵🥂 (with effort, diligence and skill -- disclaimer insert!!) And one that EXCITES me to still be doing in 30 years time <3
So, no, I don't find coaching to be hard, but rather see it as the greatest gift I was bold enough to receive (because it admittedly did take me bodly saying yes to doing it!) 🙌🏼💕 If this resonated with you, comment below or message me directly to learn more
