They had a LOT more fun today than this photo would imply. They're doing the moody-middle-distance-blogger-stare but, since I didn't ask them to, I can only assume another kid dared to walk past with an ice cream.
Peak: I'm not going to lie to you guys (you know me by now anyway): I'm inherently lazy. We had a big day out but my highlight is coming back to my sister's farm house for a hot cup of tea, hearty chicken curry and geeky game of Settlers of Catan.
Pit: it's a cheeky pit because - really - it was insanely fun, but we spent the afternoon at a Zimbabwean water park. And by 'Zimbabwean' I mean: no lifeguards and death-defying, rickety metal flumes. We all had a whale of a time, but Jonny has a bleeding elbow and scraped up back to show for the "fun". You'd be surprised how much louder you scream going down a slide when you genuinely don't know if you'll reach your family at the bottom or St Peter at the pearly gates.
So day 292: you'd love an African fun park, if your idea of fun is near death experiences
