For completing my photo project on "winter activites in Iran" I booked a one week trip to visit the country in January. As I remember from the time I was living in Iran, the high mountains always became white from November, so January was a reasonable time for winter activites. My friend @tarikssalem also joined me, it was his first visit to the country and he was also quite excited to run on persian powder! We booked our flight in early December and since then we were checking the weather forecast week by week! But this year was phenomenolly different! So as the picture shows we ended up standing on 3960 m Tochal summit staring at snowless four thousands peaks. Even Damavand, which is 5619 m, had just a dust of snow.
