Today I want to talk about „Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tournament Fighters“ published by Konami in 1993.
Yeah I know, another fighting game?!
But this one has a special place in my heart ❤️.
I really loved the TMNT when I was a kid, watching the cartoons early in the morning at the weekends in my pajamas and with a big bowl of cereals ... good old times.
So this game got a big nostalgic bonus for me, but non or less it is a really fun to play game. The graphics are beautiful to look at, with bright colours and the awesome character- and especially stage-design. The roster is very diverse. Of course there are our four reptile heroes (which are red-eared sliders belonging to the family Emydidae, the more you know 🌈) with their significant weapons and their archenemy „Shredder“, but also a whole bunch of other very interesting characters like „War“ or „Armaggon“. When you enter a special code, you get two more characters to choose from, I really like such bonus content.👍
The controls feel smooth and responsive, and every character has its own unique moves, so there is not much I can complain about.
You can choose between „Tournament Mode“, where you play for price money 💰, „Story Mode“, where you play through with one of the Turtles, „Watch-Mode“ and of course „VS. Mode“.
So if you like the TMNT, this is a good game for you, if you like fighting games, this is also a good game for you, if you like both (like myself) this is an awesome game for you and I can totally recommend it, because it is just a lot of fun in my opinion. #snes #supernintendo #retrogames #retrogaming #fightinggame #teenagemutantninjaturtles #oldbutgold #oldschoolgaming #tmnt #tmntcollector #videogames #tmnttoys #fun #turtles
