Action for the day: Today, tell yourself: YOU will not fail. Say it out loud. Take a bold action to move forward, toward your goals for today, tomorrow and the future.
The biggest factor for success is attitude. If you believe you will succeed, you are much more likely to. A successful person refuses to give up, even after several failures. They believe the next attempt will finally work.
Even if odds are against you, the mindset that anything is possible if you work hard, will get you closer to your goal than believing in the opposite. “Small Bites: Daily Inspirations for Weight Loss Surgery Patients” by Katie Jay and Julia A. Persing

Tlcsurgery/NobilisHealth: “Food Fact Friday!” 🥔💚
Are white potatoes really that bad for us? Are sweet potatoes a much better option?
Potatoes contain carbohydrates, which our bodies need for energy; they also have fiber. Sweet potatoes are an excellent source of Vitamin A, which is important for eye health. White potatoes have potassium, which can lower blood pressure and improve blood circulation.
The problem is how much we eat and how they are prepared: huge loaded baked potatoes, baskets of French fries and bags of potato chips! 🍟🚫
If any potatoes are prepared in a high fat method, then NONE of those options are healthy (including sweet potato fries and chips)!! Eat a variety of real potatoes. They have many nutritional benefits. Just stick to 1 cup per meal, check out smaller “pee wee” potatoes, eat the skins, and try out different colorful potatoes too! (that’s a PURPLE sweet potato at the end of the video!) #tlcsurgery #nobilishealth #linlinshao #potato #sweetpotato #eatsmart #healthyfoodchoices #wlscommunity #wlscommunity #moderation
