The Cruiserweight Championship is just over one year old and already WWE have decided to change the design of the Championship. The purple and silver design has been replaced by a black and gold design. The change was officially announced on Kalisto's Twitter and Instagram as he put the picture out there for the world to see. There is no current news on why the change happened but it is being speculated that the change happened to try to make the Cruiserweight division feel like a more natural part of RAW instead of a completely different entity. Nah, jk, it's a filter.

The “Aftershow” Phase 😃

So after spending several weeks posting photos up leading up to my show of me I thought I’d share my current position 6 weeks after stepping off stage.
#
After the show going on holiday with the boys and then having my family visiting for the week probably wasn’t best planned in terms of increased alcohol consumption 🍻 & the number of big meals out 🍽 but I’ll be honest I wouldn’t of changed it for being slightly more “optimal” in terms of coming out of the dieting phase and being more controlled with weight regain.

After spending so long in a dieting phase focussing on controlling every element the goal for me after the show was to get back to normality, enjoy some down time but continue to remain consistent around some basic daily habits to keep an element of consistency and keep the weight re-gain more controlled.

🚶🏻 Focussed on keeping my daily step count above 10,000.
#
🏋🏻 Continue to weight train a minimum 3x per week and continue with the 1-2x conditioning sessions I’d be doing in for general health/ fitness and enjoyment.
#
📱 Continue to track my food Monday-Friday and keep calorie intake between 2000-2500 calories & allow for 3500-4500 calories on a weekend.
#
☕️ With big meals out I often skip breakfast or have a lighter breakfast to allow for more food and calories later on in the day.
#
🍗 Focus on keeping protein intake at roughly 1g per lb of bodyweight daily.
#
🍰 If I do feel like excessively over eating or going off track during the week I’ll try to plan ahead and place after a heavy training session.
#
Working off the above ☝️ of course could be better or more “optimal” but it certainly works for me, suits my lifestyle and allows me to stay consistent without feeling guilty or going to far off track. Dieting and getting in shape for a show is a goal and a challenge but it’s not how I want to be for everyday life as it simply isn’t sustainable nor enjoyable.

The goal now isn’t to get out of shape but focus on staying in a maintainable lifestyle “lean” (for me) that allows me to go out every weekend to drink & eat, to train hard, recover well and generally just feel good for everyday life 😃

I think it's fair to say I've zero chance of any thigh gap ever again, but that's ok 💁🏼 I'd rather have strong thighs💪🏻growing bigger muscles isn't for everyone but I love it. It also isn't easy.
I wish it was as easy as the girls who are afraid to lift heavy think. You don't look at a weight and explode 🤦🏼‍♀️

We have #humpday but can we also make a day in appreciation of #quads 🤷🏼‍♀️ .
Now if my 🍑 and shoulders would catch up with my growing thighs and lats that would be fantastic 🦄(the unicorn resembles nada here other than she's too cute and is my new fave emoji). .
Relaxing into a phase of increasing calories when your mentality most of your life has been to reduce them can be difficult especially on us females however when you see full strong muscles developing how cool is that?

I am making a conscious effort to ensure I pack in more variety to my meals.
I eat 'samey' because I'm not an epic cook, I like simplicity and I'm a creature of habit. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Not many can say they consume enough fish or supplement to ensure their bodies inherit sufficient essential fatty acids.

I attended a seminar last week and it really highlighted how our nutrition affects us not only in the now but also later in life discussing a few nutrients as well as herbs and spices.

Omega 3's have been studied and continue to be. Some of the findings are showing they help in preventing osteoporosis, aiding heart health, helping symptoms of arthritis, serve as an anti flammatory, help individuals suffering from depression and bipolar disorders to list a few. I intend to stop forgetting to supplement with my fish oils and make eating fish and make this more of a priority amongst other things.

As today is a rest day i don't need as much energy or carbohydrates as I will be sitting down working most of the day so this is a day I go lower carb(not none because that's dull 🤦🏼‍♀️). #
I packed in a high protein/fat with lots of spices and vegetables for breakfast which I plan to make a habit of including salmon to that meal also ensuring I consume it at least once more in my week.
#
Small things we do repeatedly illicit a new habit and lead to further success.
This is no biggy but it certainly helps.
