ExercisingπŸ‹πŸ»β€β™€οΈ like crazy while eating junk food πŸŸπŸ•, yo yo dieting, and food deprivation🍴 to lose weight is just NOT sustainable. Any kind of deprivation will just continue to beat up your body and your health!
Change your MINDSET! Respect yourself! It usually takes 21 days to get rid of sugar cravings🍬and form a HABIT! Start to form better habits with the RIGHT nutrition and create balance so you can enjoy the foods you LOVE once in a while! The convenience of my nutrition has helped me do just that!! I am thankful for getting the superfoods🌱I do on a daily basis to help me maintain my weight and energy! Eat like you LOVE yourself! JUST DO IT! πŸ‡πŸ’πŸ₯‘

The picture on the left was taken in January of 2010. I was in the middle of my last season of college swimming. I was working out 20-30 hours per week and in the best shape of my life. But, that girl was not happy, I was dealing with anxiety and I was really self conscious.

The picture in the middle is when I was 5 weeks post partum after having Hannah. She was my second pregnancy and c-section within 2 years. Plus, I was dealing with a lot of PTSD and post partum depression at the time after Hannah's NICU stay.

The picture on the right was taken TODAY at 4 1/2 months post partum. I'm in the best shape of my life after 2 kids!

When I stopped swimming 7 years ago, I thought to myself that I would never be in shape like that ever again. I started running marathons and going on 2-4 hour runs per day to try to stay in shape. I enjoyed running, but my legs could not handle it, I ended up with multiple stress fractures. I then felt lost in my health and fitness. Then, I became pregnant with Lily and I told myself I didn't need to think about fitness since I was pregnant. When I was postpartum with Lily, I didn't have any kind of workout routine or anything. I tried a couple of different at home workouts, but they never worked for me and I never stuck to it. In all honesty, I didn't think I had time to work out.

Now, I have two little children and may be more busy than I was before, but I made a commitment to myself to be the healthiest version of myself I can be. I committed to eating healthy, working out daily and drinking superfoods daily to improve my health. I only workout 30-45 minutes per day (WAY less than I did when I was swimming) and I follow a portion control meal plan...NO dietingπŸ˜€

I cannot believe the results in just 3 short months on this program!!!! I'm happier than I've ever been, healthier than I've ever been and feeling amazing.

Today was a super busy day so it took Mommy all day to get her booty workout in, but at least she did it! -1/2 Banana - 1 Scoop @perfectfit coconut protein -1 cute

So yummy and my little man loved it after playing outside in the dirt. After this snack it's bath time for him.

Getting ready to leave tomorrow morning for a long weekend in Maine so tonight was a #treatyoself situation. M4 was a Luna bar and M5 was leftover veggie coconut curry over spinach and quinoa. #tiucheckin

Today's menu so far another protein waffle I prepped yesterday with syrup, no M2 (those waffles are filling!) and M3 was my standard romaine and edamame salad and some white rice with bok choy, green beans, broccoli and cauliflower. Today I am thankful for:
1. My May virtual boot camp ladies! You have all supported me and helped me get back on track after having pretty bad nutrition while I was in Tennessee earlier this month. Thank you to everyone for keeping me accountable and for all the supportπŸ˜€
2. Hannah slept in this morning! She has been waking up around 5 and today she slept in until 7. I was pretty tired so I really needed it.
3. My support system! All day and everyday I'm thankful for my family, my team and everyone who supports me on this journey, it's definitely not something you can do by yourself so the support is amazing πŸ™ŒπŸ™ŒπŸ™Œ
