"It's ok to be a quitter when you're choosing what matters." No matter what happens it's never a surprise to Heavenly Father.
This is me compromising. ✌
I hate riding in RVs. I didn't used to but somewhere between wonder and adulthood, I developed a fear. .
I also hate to ask people to do something I'm unwilling to do. So I'm riding in the back. Which is better for me because I don't have to see where we're going, and I'm letting the wonders take the front seat. 😳
And praying. A lot.😂
I know we'll get where we're supposed to go and sometimes the ride is wild and feels out of control. And sometimes it is. .
You don't have to be the best at everything. Allow your weaknesses to be someone else's strengths. That's what community is for and there's nothing wrong with stepping aside for sanity's sake. Instead of stretching yourself too thin, create margin and manage your expectations about what you can do right now. This may be the season for somebody else to shine while you focus on what's important. ✨ Stop beating yourself up for what you're not doing then you can be more gracious in supporting the people around In the skip someone else a chance to shine in a role that you couldn't take on. That doesn't mean that you have to skip out though! Trust and have faith. There is a plan for every single person, no matter what.
And in the meantime, if you wish you could feed the homeless, take a meal to a family instead. Can't be the room mother because you work? Read with your kids at home, and donate supplies for the next party. Want to serve in church? Pray for your leaders. Want to give more? Skip your Starbucks and make a donation instead.
Celebrate yourself and fill the niche that only you can!
So tell me, who likes RVs again? 🚙 🙌
