TIU 21 Day Challenge DAY 3 • 🚨 long post alert🚨
I am honestly so happy with this program. This is exactly how I like to eat, whole foods, mostly plan based, non processed... it just makes me feel so much better, energized, light, etc. ——
When I was on my last year in college i read Whole by Dr. Campbell and it was really life changing, my eating habits changed and without dieting, overly exercising or obsessing about food, i lost so much weight, not even noticing it. It was not the reason of my happiness, i was genuinely happy from the inside. I even didn’t drink coffee anymore (which i love and drink about 3 cups daily since i opened a cafe). About 2 years went by and I then started to become more flexible and eventually based my meals on flour tortillas and cheese (the worst). Last year, I decided to get help from a nutritionist and had a meal plan made every week. I just gave it to my *amazing* cook and didn’t even get involved and i managed to lose 18 lbs, again without obsessing, or doing anything extreme. ——
Few months later, I started to focus on wanted to change about my body and began obsessing about food and exercise (sometimes 3 times per day). This led to binge eating, restrictive dieting, starving and binging, feelings guilty, compensating with cardio, only thinking about food, creating an eating disorder and probably screwing up my metabolism. Oh, and gaining a lot of the weight back.
I’ve tried all of the workout programs, diets, shakes, etc. That you might think of, but realized that if i wanna feel my best, ive got to treat myself better and by that, also realizing what it was that made me feel happy and healthy. Which is a mostly plant based diet, running and walking outdoors for fun, yoga, active lifestyle (without thinking about the calories im burning)
With this being said, Im so inspired by all of your fitness accounts, transformations, programs, tips, ideas, etc. I hope to inspire all of you guys’ too and promote a healthy MIND, which leads to a healthy everything else.
