I needed to do a little strength training today and when I was finished, I discovered I can stand on my toes so much better than I've been able to since my foot surgery back in November!
It might not seem like a huge deal, but without that flexibility, it's very difficult to lunge, run, plank and lots of other things I never really thought about needing foot/toe flexibility for...who knew?
My 2 cents about injury recovery...listen to your doctors and therapists. They seem to know what they're talking about even when we don't always like what they say. It's been a loooong road, I've had to modify a lot, but I'm finally feeling like I'm getting there! Celebrate the little things! #tippytoes
