Happy #tippletuesday ! This limited edition of the 2015 release of the @Tomatinwhisky Cu Bocan is homage to the American bourbon cask. The complete series features three different cask types: #bourbon , #sherry and virgin oak to showcase the different influences on the spirit. The #whisky was fully matured in bourbon barrels, bottled at 46% ABV and is non-chillfiltered. The Cu Bocan is very mildly peated (15 ppm), so if you are not so attracted to peated whisky, give the standard Cu Bocan a try. Tomatin is known for the fruity style, but I think this whisky here is a little less fruity than expected. It has a lot of vanilla, spicy herbs and citrus.
