#WOODCHOPPERs a great exercise for the upper & lower body.
One of our members Carole Neuner is demonstrating great form in performing a WOODCHOPPER in the picture.
Positioning & #Movement Pattern:
Focal Point forward throughout
Flat Back throughout (NO ROUNDING)
Feet Positioning-Slightly outside hip width
Arms holding on to the medicine ball (MB) should be extended throughout the movement.
Power up through the legs, driving the arms above the head with hip extension & shoulder flexion.
-Return the (MB) to the floor
-Shoulders remain elevated above the hips
-Hips remain elevated above the knees -Touch the floor with the (MB)
