Life’s toughest battles are fought in the mind. In an instant, or sometimes more gradually, the once-clear path ahead can become obscured or disappear altogether … the overwhelming realisation of being ‘lost’ can be too much for some to bear, and it can seem as though there’s no way forward.
Fighter’s Friend is very proud to support Tiger Muay Thai fighters Brooke and Eddie Farrell in their roles as suicide prevention ambassadors: “There have been too many lives lost and too many are still struggling in silence which is why being an ambassador and creating awareness for suicide prevention is important to us … I know too many people are suffering and feel alone, but we want people to know they most definitely are not alone. No one should feel embarrassed, unworthy or ashamed to speak out because too many of us are going through similar feelings, emotions and experiences. Life isn’t always easy, it can be really hard sometimes, but it can and will get better.” @brooke_nakmuay

Proud to be Suicide Prevention Ambassadors! ❤
Having such an amazing couple on board is an asset to the Quandamooka Cup suicide prevention message. As the saying goes, a couple that plays together, stays together and that's why we felt bringing such a strong unit together to help us spread awareness was important. With their help, we can reach many others who are struggling abroad and hopefully inspire them to reach out and ask for help and not feel any shame in it.
