The beauty of consistency - For something like a year I've been really wanting to do a muscle up. I am still unable to but that's no surprise, for all the drills and techniques that I could be honing to develop my strength and technique to achieve the muscle up I have in all honesty done none; nothing, nada. It's been a kind of laziness - after all it's comfortable doing what you're always used to doing. So I've kept on doing what I normally do, my pull ups, that are up to 200+ (thank you #timbahwolf for the awesome inspiration), my kung fu, and all the rest in between that I do. Yet so right now I am closer than ever to pull off the muscle up without training for it specifically and this is all thanks to consistency. Despite joggling three jobs I make time to train every single day and if I do get to the point where I am just too tired on any given day then I still do something, whether that be 10 push ups or 100 but I do always something. And it pays of. And that my friend, is the beauty of consistency.
