Here is my #artquilt entry for the #pantonequiltchallenge - #quilttop category - featuring the color Greenery (or the closest green I could find to that exact hue). ~39"x31.5" ... for now it's called Florna... Generally I'm not a big green fan actually- I can't think of a single green thing in my wardrobe- so I played with the color and print combinations that make me appreciate green. Definitely hot pink, orange, navy, B&W, leopard ... I also remembered this sweet little place in #saigon aka #hochiminhcity where I liked to chill and drink #tigerbeer. The bottom half of the walls were bright green, the top half bright white. I loved it. I remember it well 11 years later 😊 My #creativeprocess was a lot of adding and substracting and playing and this final state came easily once I realized where it's going- #inthekitchen - so came together the orientation, degree of simplicity/complexity and brightness. The kitchen is kinda small and dim... I didn't want this to be too complex if I couldn't step back very far from it. I don't know if I want to do a binding or a facing yet... #gotitdonebeforeleavingtownyayyyy !! #andimhappywithit #doubleyay #areyoustillreading ?
