Out of all the influences in my skating, and life, @mikevallely has had the greatest impact. I first seen his skating in THUG2, when I was 9, and was instantly intrigued. He had such a different style that was so different and brand new to me. It opened up so many doors in skating, style, music etc. From watching him skate and speak about skating, it instantly clicked. I had never seen someone so passionate about what he was doing and how he did it, but more importantly, WHY he did it. It was the first time I considered skating an art form and never saw it any other way from that day on. I started trying boneless' and was stoked but wanted to be more like Mike, so I pushed harder and added variations. 15 years later, I've created more tricks then I can count and still love seeing what else can be done. Out of pure coincidence we're both vegans, fans of wrestling, and love punk rock. You continue to inspire me by doing what you want, what you feel is right and not caring about anyones opinion. I hope one day to skate with you, maybe even have a game of skate aha. You're the fuckin man Mike! Don't ever change!
