Life is short and you get one chance...
The remarkable & legendary New York photographer Bill Cunningham left us this weekend. Unbridalled by "other people's rules. Living life exactly how he wanted to, doing exactly what he loved. Right up until he died, at 87. I bumped into him on the street just last year, early one freezing February Sunday morning, before the city was awake…he was riding his bicycle to work & we were the only two people on the street. I smiled & he waved back. Both frozen, but in pursuit of what we were put on this earth to do. Pursuing what we love, in this city that never skips a beat. He was everything that I love about this city. Passionate, committed, tough, remarkable, focused, unstoppable...living 100% in his zone of genius until the end. If you have a passion pursue it.
If you hate your job, leave it.
If you're holding onto a dream, chase it.
If you woke up this morning, be thankful ...not everyone did. Life is short & you get one shot - This is it!
