“We don’t get to pick the other survivors of the shipwreck, and in our darkest days, they’re all we have.” Oh dark delights!!! Part thriller, part science fiction, #bonemusic is original, unpredictable, and utterly enthralling! Charlotte Rowe has never led a normal life. Her mother was killed by two serial killers, who then stole her and raised her as their own. Until the FBI caught them. She was returned to a father who was more interested in profiting from her than raising her. Or healing her. And just when she finally had control of her life, she finds herself tricked into taking an experimental drug that gives her shocking powers. Caught in the crosshairs of a powerful corporation, Charlotte decides she won’t be controlled by anyone again. Full review on my blog, link in my bio! Thank you @littlebirdpublicity @amazonpublishing for sending me an early copy to read and review!!! 🖤📖🖤 This book is stunning! And if you love books that dive into dark themes where everyone and everything stays firmly in the morally gray, you’ll be sucked into this book right away! My love of strong female protagonist is strong with this one!!! Charlotte is such a vivid and complex character. She has every right to be broken, damaged, and yet she is strong. She doesn’t rely on men, even though she asks for their help. She knows who she is, even when she doesn’t realize it. She makes mistakes but is willing to admit them. Her fear of not being a good person is heartbreaking. I just seriously adored her. I can’t wait for the next book!!! 🖤📚🖤 who’s your favorite female character??? Why???
