What I treasure so much about the Andes is that I am literally surrounded on all sides by powerful, deep, strong medicine men. They not only see me, but they naturally revere the feminine. They are proud to support a medicine woman. It comes with the softness of these mountains.
In Australia it can often be a struggle being a strong woman with our "tall poppy" complex and misogyny still rife in the energetics. But in the Andes I can simply be me and be a more natural, softer version of myself.
It's safe to be a powerful woman here.
This is Miguel Bellota, a man who has walked with and trained priestesses over the millenia. He softly holds my hands, wells with tears with me and we remember. Without need for words.
