Toppling Tree Pose also known as Patan Vrikshasana is a super fun balancing pose for all! 😀
How to: Start in Mountain Pose. Ground through all four corners of your left foot. Clapse your hands together behind your back, interlace your fingers, palms touching and squeeze your shoulder blades together as you reach your arms back. Release right leg behind you and extending it up high in the air. At the same time, slowly dip your chest toward the floor as your leg lifts higher behind you, opening the pelvis. The more you lean your upper body forward and engage your core, the higher your leg will lift. Try to maintain a straight line from the crown of your head to the end of your back foot no matter how far you tilt forward. Hold for 5 breathes and repeat on other side. Beginners feel free to bend both legs to have a more steady base.
Give it a try and let me know how you do!
