We want to take the time to appreciate all of our volunteers who helped us reconstruct the Ramada at Keen aka The Midtown Farm. All was Done with donated materials, time, and love. (That’s why the shingles are different colors). Some of us remember playing here as kids so we knew it was important for us and the neighborhood to see pieces of the school come back to life. Special Thanks: -to our farm crew 🌽🌶🥕 -Rain Water Harvesting Crew ⛈☔️ -all our volunteers✊🏽 - @tanzilloandson for helping with the carpentry and giving us the confidence to do some minor framing. 🔨🔨🔨 - Nito Bravo “KnockOut Paint” for helping us paint the Ramada👨🏽🎨 🎨- - @turtlekutz for teaching others how to properly prep, prime, and stucco.👨🏽🔧👨🏽🔧 - “El Pueblo Roofing” & the Ramirez family for providing a new roof. 🏠 This is our community. #flowersandbullets#midtownfarm#tucson#thisiswhatcommunitylookslike#sustainability#art#rebellion

It’s a beautiful day at the White Bear Area Emergency Food Shelf! Local @forksinthedirt blogger Michelle Bruhn and son dropped by with a fresh donation, the shelves are fully loaded thanks to the morning stocking volunteers, we have fresh flowers from our garden in the bathroom, and over 20 families are scheduled to shop the market! #ThisIsWhatCommunityLooksLike
