I had originally planned to go shoot photos in Sabula with others, but decided to go alone instead. It had been awhile since I had went out by myself. Just my car, camera, and I. Shooting alone allows for more time to think about each shot rather than trying to get as much as you can and choosing the best later. Photography isn't just about the end product, it's about the experience as well. Today I felt more accomplished with my photography than I have in awhile even though I took a fraction of the photos I would normally take on a trip like this. It reminded me to just slow down, think, shoot, and repeat.
