Att filma sina set (inte bara sina PB-set) är otroligt nyttigt (så om du inte redan gör det, så borde du börja) då en film ger konkret feedback på ditt utförande, hastighet etc. Jag gillar att filma mina arbetsset ur olika vinklar, framförallt för att kunna upptäcka olika dumheter lite lättare, vissa brukar nämligen vara lättare att se ur vissa vinklar. Jag tittar även på filmerna direkt efter seten vilket gör att det går att försöka korrigera ev dumheter till nästa set. Så summa sumaro: Du hittar troligtvis på en eller flera stycken dumheter när du tränar - filma dina set och titta på dem direkt efter setet så att du har möjlighet att korrigera dessa dumheter under passets gång 😊 Här dagens FU-bänk: 4x8x50 kg och på tal om dumheter så har jag tydligen inte lärt mig hur man är hård i korgen med fötterna i luften än 🍅 #SoftLikeAPotatobag #styrkelyft #styrkelyft #styrkeløft #thisisfemalepowerlifting #bänkpress #benchpress #womenwhopowerlift #girlswhopowerlift #tyngre #ipf #powerlifting

Apparently when u don't squat for three months it's very awkward when u try doing it again 🙄😒. Yet this is one of the few things I can kind of do while I let my shoulder heal up 🤕. So here I am. Fingers crossed it'll be ok by the weekend 🤞

I wish my snap back and singlet was filled with Pizza like this little kids. But if I can't be that cool I'll take ANOTHER LIFETIME PR! Overshot RPE a tiny bit, but it broke the floor nicely, just lockout crawled a bit. My shoulder has been killing me for days and the rotation at the top crushed me, but the chiropractor is working on it and hopefully we don't have anymore hold ups in the next three weeks! Just wanna stay in one piece! Well here's a 7lb lifetime PR with the damn three plates!!! 315lbs for the win! Thanks for the load ups and cheering @samzerega and the unimpressed watching of @lew.bob .

A little writing last night in my fluffy hotel bed 😴. Whenever I'm struggling with staying dedicated or disciplined, I've gotten myself a journal. To be honest, I usually don't write in them for very long- but their purpose is still served. Seeing it is a reminder of goals, a reminder I have outlet, a reminder I am a rational being an can talk things out with myself- in a slowed down, abrasive manner via writing. When prepping for my bodybuilding show last year, I bought a small white journal. I literally didn't write in it one time (lol), but I had it on me every where I went for 6 months up until the day I stepped on stage. It did its job. "Ideas become things." Yes they do. P.S. - when I moved to Florida last year I discovered I had about 15 pink, never-written in journals 😂. #powerlifter #strongman

Still trying to figure out my ugly deadlifts. As bummed as I was about this training session (80%/225 supposed to be for 2x6, did 2x3, and squats were hard af), I'm really happy to just be training again.

My injury is slowly recovering with twice weekly visits to my physical therapist and a tonnn of work at home. I'm glad that powerlifting positively affects it and I can, with good conscience, keep training for my meet in November.

Bench day yesterday went better than this squat/dead Monday, and dat arm pump certainly didn't hurt my ego 🤣

#movingweightbyanymeans in everything I do, whether it be school, work, the gym, spending time with family at home, or competing on the platform.

So I pulled 215x7 for my last set today. It felt like death, mostly because I'm between holes on my belt and went with the tighter option which was.....a poor choice. 😂 ➡️ Also hit 90x9 on Larsen presses after a bunch of doubles, which basically means my leg drive on comp bench is underwhelming at best. So we learned some things today, I guess? 🙃
