I said earlier this week I tasted one of the best cup of coffee I ever had. This is this beauty from @lacabracoffee , Sudan Rume, Colombia. This is a wonderful variety I didn't know so much about. In fact, Sasa Sestic won the world barista championship in 2015 with this varietal. This coffee is all you want from a light roast: Lemongrass, bergamot, vanilla, sweet cloves and red fruits. The body is tea like with a soft acidic finish. Every sip is a pure pleasure ! I did the La Cabra recommendation of brewing it at 30ppm but, for me, I prefer my standard 170ppm from @thirdwavewater . Now I have to let this coffee rest for one more week to achieve even better results. Treat yourself, I think they still have it, less than 40 boxes...

Rocking the Hathaway from @bowsxarrowscoffee and have to say that the difference of the @thirdwavewater #espressoprofile is substantially noticeable! Immediate flavour pop. Cranberries/blackberries/cascara. I must say, we are really liking this difference. •
You see, as we operate as a mobile coffee bar, we have to run off of 19 L water jugs. We use R.O. water as the Kelowna water is terrible for our equipment ( unlike vancouver water ), but R.O. Strips out too much good stuff. So, @thirdwavewater puts the good stuff back in ( magnesium sulfate, calcium citrate, potassium bicarbonate ). This makes a difference folks! Try it out if you don’t believe it.
This stuff is essential for every mobile coffee company!
