After two monstrous stages at the beginning of our tour we welcomed today's ride. 189 km kilometers but only about 1000 meters of elevation. The team started of in Giswil in heavy rain fall. As the dat progressed the clouds vanished and we took on Unter-Hauenstein. The only col of the day. Now we arrived in Thann in the shadow of the Vosges.
BREECH HOMEBIRTH!!! . . What I love in this photo is the absolute centered, sentient calmness of this mother, and her undisturbed focus exactly where it should be: on herself and her newly born freshling. She has that air of capable satisfaction of a woman who has just brought the loaf from the oven and turned it out, wiping her hands on her apron, surveying the work of her hands. Woman's work, nicely done, her way, in her own domain, by a tried and tested recipe. . .
While the first part was rather quite nice to ride, the second part of the third stage was predominantly boring, with nothing else to see than wheat fields all around, before reaching the Oise River before Tergnier. Only seeing the direction "Marly-Gomont" sparked a little bit of interest. Let's rest for two days in Viry-Noureil now before heading towards Paris! #cyclingtrip#thirdstage#france#aisne#lagny#oiseriver#tergnier
First part of the third stage of my 95kms trip between Fourmies and Viry-Noureil. A relatively flat stage back in France crossing the Aisne department, being my first time biking in Picardy. Many of the photos were taken in the cute village of Origny-en-Thiérache. #cyclingtrip#thirdstage#france#aisne#orignyenthierache
My first set of revision posters all about the stages of labour! I’m currently not the best at making them but hoping I’ll get better the more that I do😅 These will be going up on my wall as quick references of information put into simple terms😄
