I'm no #architect, although that had been my dream since age 8. While I qualified to enter the #architectural school at age 17 in #singapore, I was beaten by the influx of applicants who had better results than me (who might not have necessarily shared the same #dream). My #journey then took me to business school...thousands of miles away from home. For whatever reason or reasons my dream was crushed (Yes, I was #broken about this at that time.), my different #path had shaped me and led me to the experiences I faced. And the #life I now have. A part of me had wanted to be a #careerwoman in the #corporateworld (even while wanting to be an architect as a kid). And I did. For more than a decade of power suits amongst the #powerhungry in different continents. Until of course #God presented me with His other plans. We just keep moving, don't we? Go with the flow, but keep on moving. Today, I have become the architect of my own life. Just expressing my love for #houses and #designs as an overly-unqualified architect-designer makes me smile. Something I do every other day. To a point that the husband said that I should sell my plans to firms. Did I ever say that he's quite funny? Me? I'm quite happy.
