In an interview today I was asked what my “philosophy” is for my photography. Without hesitation I said, “People over photos.”
I’ve been at this for over 10 years, and the farther I go the more and more I see the value of the people in front of my camera. It’s easy to take a photograph. But I’ve seen that through my interactions with a camera in-hand, I can create genuine moments, bring out true emotions and personalities, tell stories and build confidence.
Creating photos isn’t why I do what I do... it’s the people. And to me, that’s the best part of this whole thing. 💛
