• COMING HOME •
“A woman who embraces the wild
has recognized that her essential nature
is nature itself and that it is time
to come home to herself.
She is ready to bow to a vast intelligence,
to drop the disconnected perspectives
that have exhausted her, and thread herself
back into the web of life
in ways that nourish her body, mind and soul.”
I am bowing to the vast intelligence of the land this morning. Honoring sea and sky, rock, wind, tree, sun, moon, fire, creatures and the unseen realm.
I am readying a woman for an adventure with the land, a homecoming, a reconnection between land and animal body.
How are you honoring and nourishing and tending your animal body this weekend? Me, I plan to move my body on a hike (rain or shine), make medicine + a new batch of face+body creams, and set intentions as I embark on further herbal apprenticeship come Monday on the magical Mendocino coast.
You can never weave too much loves. Our bodies want and need the land medicine. We are here to connect with it for a reason.
