HAPPY ONE YEAR FRANKIE!! One year ago I rescued a little puppy with the most atrocious injuries I have ever seen. Broken hips, pelvis, and every bone in his little legs. Burns on his back and stomach, an eye ulcer and a broken front paw. And yet he was the most excited and loving little boy.
He tolerated everything like a champ with a nothing can hold him down attitude. He remains the happiest pug I know despite aches and discomfort and challenges he must feel at times.
He instantly bonded with my other broken pug boy - CHANCE, and they loved each other very much. Frankie was the first to snuggle with Chance and I could see the joy in both of their faces. We called them “roomies” because they often shared the same playpen. Frankie loved to clean up the sweet potatoes after Chance, and was very protective of him. Chancey loved Frankie even when he pooped on him a couple times - they both caused each other frequent pajama changes.
No one walks into our house aka the pug palace without being inspected by Frankie. He is in everyone’s business and he has rightfully earned his nickname The Supervisor as well as the honor of being our foundations official “mascot” although I think he would prefer the term “ambassador.” Thank you @krystal_with_a_kay for letting me know about him and giving me a chance to rescue him.
Thank you Frankie for being an inspiration to me and to so many. You are the strongest, most determined little boy I know, who sees no disability only ABILITY.
Mama loves you so much no matter how many times you pee on me. God Bless you my little boy. ❤️ #SavingFrankie
