Born and raised in Brabant, hospitality is in Pauls DNA, making it no surprise that his first job was in a local restaurant in Overloon. He started as a steward where he cleaned plates on the weekend. When he finished his Hospitality Management study in Arnhem, love is what made him move to the capital city. Paul worked his way up the ranks and is now delivering the highest standards of service in our Two-Michelin Star restaurant, Librije's Zusje. As part of this team, Pauls knows very well that preparation is key. He makes sure that all of the menus remain up to date and the restaurant is perfectly set before the arrival of our first guests. Throughout the course of your meal, it is Paul and the team that will make your dining experience into an unforgettable one.
Paul enjoys showcasing his service skills at the Waldorf Astoria Amsterdam, however at home he spends his time in the kitchen. When he is not working or cooking Paul loves fixing up his Old-timer Volkswagen. He can't wait until summer holiday, so he can travel all over Europe with his beloved Volkswagen discovering new cuisines along the road.
