Lately I’ve been struggling with fear.
Today I hit 30 weeks in my pregnancy.
Immediately I was overwhelmed with all of the things I’m not prepared for. Seeking comfort I turned to my Word and came across Zephaniah 3:17. Instantly I was reminded where my comfort comes from, where my joy comes from, and where my hope lies.
For the Lord your God is living among you.
He is a mighty Savior.
He will take delight in you with gladness.
With His love, He will calm all your fears.
He will rejoice over you with joyful songs.
I had a vision of lavender and felt led to paint it. Lavender is known for its calming and soothing properties. The symbol of lavender ties so perfectly to the verse in Zephaniah and reminds me that our Heavenly Father will ease our fears and fill us with a calm spirit if we turn to Him.
