Here is one exercise you've probably never done that is absolute torture.... DEADMILLS!!! I first experienced this at @barryslondon with the incredible @shanbelcastro🔥
Here is @gains4girls demonstrating and explaining how to deadmill. Be sure to check her out 👌
🌟Deadmills are sprinting on a treadmill when the treadmill is turned completely off. We usually do 15 seconds sprint with a 45 second rest for 10 rounds, but you can make it harder or easier by increasing the rest time.
🌟Hold onto the top of the treadmill with your hands and power the treadmill with your feet.
🌟The main reason as to why off versus on is because true HIIT training is centred around the idea of 100% max effort for a short period of time... If you're sprinting with the treadmill on at a set pace that's not 'max effort' it's just as fast as you've set the treadmill to go. The traction of the treadmill also increases the resistance on your whole body that you wouldn't get from having a treadmill on.
🌟How often we do these varies on whether we are in a 'bulk', 'cut', or what our individual goals are. I'm (LP) doing them once a week and I'm cutting ✂️ 🌟 Hope this answers most questions about deadmills girls!! If you have any more questions ask @gains4girls she's amazing 💙🙏🙌
