Would I have guessed that I would wear waders or a veil made out of mosquito netting on my wedding day? No. Would I change anything about it? Hell no. Not everything is easy, but it is always fun with @angler_untangler. From the day I asked him if he wanted to live in my little tiny camper with me, to the 4 months we spent separated while I guided in Chile, to all the roadside vehicle catastrophes, meals of Ramen, living in a sailboat and branding livestock. All we do is smile. Smile with the drive shaft dragging below the truck in the highway, laughing while welding the tongue of the camper back together in a Home Depot parking lot using the solar panel, and joking at the fly tying table while bitching about the guest that hit us in the face with their fly that day. Not everything is easy, we aren’t smiling because we find fun in shit breaking, but because no matter what- it’s just another page in our book. We didn’t just get married because we love each other, but because we are an unstoppable team👊🏼. We can say that getting married WAS easy, nothing broke, nobody got in a fight (though the park service did try and shut us down), and we didn’t go broke doing it. Our friends and lodge family all played a part and made getting married the easiest thing we’ve done. I love you all, and thank you for making it so damn easy. Love who you’ve got, not what you’ve got.
