I've come to realise that even though I like the idea of buddy reading, I'm shockingly bad at doing them. I'm still only on chapter 3 of Northern Lights 🙈🙈 whoops!
I'm also so bad at sticking to monthly TBRs. I've read 3 books so far this month and none of them were on that pile (well technically Venom was, it just wasn't released yet) 🙈 I should probably get to my TBR pile soon or I definitely won't be reading Tower of Dawn when it comes out...!
On a happier note I finished There's Someone Inside Your House by Stephanie Perkins and I really enjoyed it. It's my first book by her and I liked her writing style, it was so easy to read! But horror is definitely not a genre I read/watch much of, so I can't claim to be any kind of expert! I just know I enjoyed it and it really creeped me out. I also wrote a spoiler-free review of the book, so if you're curious to know more of what I thought, you can read that on my blog (link is in my bio) 😁
QOTD: What is a genre you don't really read and want to read more of?
