Day 2- People in the Hills Part 1
It is not in vain they say that the people in mountains are really good at heart and know how to treat the guests. And I have seen the examples time and again during travelling.
We happened to be running late when we started off on day 2, credits my lazy mother and brother duo. While my father and I are really enthusiastic about making each moment count when we travel, they are a bit laid back and comfort loving. So we decided to have breakfast after we have seen the first place on the list and stopped by this eatery with a great view overlooking the valley at the back to have tea. We waited patiently, while cherishing the view, for about 20 minutes before finally losing it. On enquiry, we were told that one of the boys has set out to fetch milk and it will take a while. By now, we had grown impatient.
There was a series of Yes-No before we decided to go somewhere else to have tea because we were indeed getting late. However, as we had almost sat in the car, the boy landed with milk and again, after a series of Yes-No, we decided to get off the car and get seated inside again. It felt almost cruel to walk out on them; the owner had been really nice and warm. So we waited for another 15 minutes but were more than pleased to have the most perfect cup of tea. And it is not the breath-taking landscapes but apparently insignificant instances like these that make travel worthwhile.
